New School Building of Brenner János Primary and Secondary was inaugurated at Szombathely on August 11, 2015.
The brand new building will hold 24 classrooms and the school floor area of 8.313 m
2, which includes indoor stadium measures nearly 1350 m
2. In addition to the classrooms, there are 11 group study rooms, labs, cabinets and dressing rooms. The courtyard has been set aside for outdoor sports. His Grace Most Rev. András Veres, the bishop of Szombathely delivered the welcome speech in which he emphasized: not only Christian upbringing is ensured to the students in the new school building but also the possibility of creating the modern conditions of daily physical education as well. Zoltán Balog, the Minister of Human Resources highlighted that the present government spent more than HUF 100 billion in the last 5 years in upgrading 500 schools and constructing new schools. The minister acclaimed that this school is the most beautiful schools among the schools built by the government.
After the ribbon-cutting, His Grace Most Rev. András Veres handed over the keys of the school to Zsolt Englert the Director, who promised a better starndard education. Nearly 500 students will resume their studies in the new building from 1st of September.
