One day for unit and for peace
The participants of the 1Úton International Pilgrimage (On one way) prayed for unity, for peace and for our country on the 22nd of August. Several thousands of people made the pilgrimage this year, hundreds of them walking on the assigned sections of the Diocese of Szombathely.
In the Diocese of Szombathely several groups of pilgrims took the road to Szentgotthárd, Celldömölk and Vasvár, and arriving to their destinated targets they celebrated thanksgiving Holy Masses. The Way of Mary has different sections in every diocese and several hundreds of people walked on the 1Úton Pilgrimage initiated by the Way of Mary Association. Families, friends, parish communities put on their hiking boots on the 22nd of August, devoting their whole day to prayer: prayer for peace, for unity and for our nation.
