St. Martin’s relics received in Körmend
A relic of St. Martin was enshrined on the 24th and 25th of October in St. Elizabeth's Church of Körmend. On the 25thof October, the 145th birth anniversary of Blessed László Batthyány Strattmann a thanksgiving Holy Mass was celebrated in commemoration of the doctor who had his eye clinic in the city of Szombathely.
Father János Schauermann, the parish-priest of St. Martin Parish of Szombathely pointed out in his homily the deep relationship of Bishop Martin with our Lord, which was also noticed by his contemporaries and turned to him with confidence in the most hopeless situations. The parish-priest urged parishioners to become friends of Jesus, and so to live the critical situations of their life with Him.
